Hi everyone. My name is Aarti Patel and I am very honoured to be the Secretary-General of R.H. King’s Model UN club. For the last four years, I have participated in this club, which has really helped me make the best of my high school experience. MUN taught me to be a team player, speak with confidence and stay informed about the world. This year, I hope our conference will inspire you to advocate for greater changes to issues you are passionate about. Hope to see all of you in May.

This will be my fourth year with Model UN and my last year with the KiMUN team. Some of my best memories were had while at a conference or at KiMUN itself. I’m looking forward to more diplomacy in the future but I’m sad to leave KiMUN but I’m confident the team next year is more than capable to take on this monstrous task of setting KiMUN for another year of success! I will be chairing the Vietnam War Committee or as I like to call it the ‘Rumble in the Jungle’, it will be an action packed and fantastic committee and I hope to see you all there!

This is my fourth year doing Model UN, and last year with the KiMUN team. It has been such an incredible experience seeing our annual conference evolve over the years, and I am really excited to share what we have in store for you all this year! This is my second year chairing Security Council, and I cannot wait to meet all the bright and and impressive delegates that participate in this committee. I hope we all learn from each other and grow as future diplomats at this year’s conference.

My name is Lavinia Auhoma. I am currently in Grade 11 and the Under-Secretary General of R.H. King Academy’s Model UN team. I joined King’s Model UN team back in Grade 9 and have been obsessed with it since. This year, I will be co-chairing the Marvel Cinematic Universe committee. This is my second time chairing a committee at KiMUN, and I am certain that KiMUN 2019 will be unforgettable!

Hey everyone! I am super excited to be an executive for this year’s KiMUN. Watching our hard work and planning culminate in this annual conference is always a great experience. Model UN has helped me grow as an individual and it has helped me gain a better understanding of what goes on in our world today, which is incredibly important.
