Position Papers 

Position papers are required for all committees.

Position papers must be submitted in order to be eligible for awards.

Guidelines:

  • Papers should be 1-3 pages in length

  • Papers should cover the history and the country/character’s stance on each of the given topics

  • Papers should include answers to the questions provided in the background guides

  • Delegates writing in-character are permitted to use first-person pronouns (I, we, etc.)

 

Submission Deadline:

Position papers must be submitted to the chair by May 3rd, 2019 11:59 P.M. Should it be necessary, the chair will accept a physical copy of the position on the day of the conference.
